Energy Innovation in Egersund is growing and expanding globally. We are looking for individuals who want to work in training, education, and development within onshore and offshore wind and environmental technology, both for the Norwegian and global markets.
To strengthen and further develop safety training, we are looking for instructor(s) with relevant experience and expertise in working at heights and/or rope access. Experience in first aid, fire safety, and rescue is an advantage. Experience as an instructor is desirable but not a requirement. Good oral and written skills in both English and Scandinavian languages (Norwegian/Swedish or Danish) are necessary.

Energy Innovation is now owned by NorSea Group / Wilhelmsen Group and IKM Group. Through Egersund Energy Hub, Energy Innovation has established the foremost center in Norway and one of the leading centers globally for training, education, R&D, and business development within onshore and offshore wind and environmental technology.
Wide range of GWO safety courses and technical training and education
Energy Innovation offers Global Wind Organisation (GWO) HSE and technical courses which is necessary to work in wind farms, either onshore or offshore. As the only center in Norway, we offer wind technician education, and in collaboration with Fagskolen Rogaland, which is now established in Egersund Energy Hub, we are developing new education programs for use in Norway and internationally. Starting in the winter of 23/24, we will also begin training in rope access (SOFT) through a collaboration with IKM Solidtech.
Energy Innovation also offers tailored courses, drills, and consulting services for the energy sector, leading and participating in numerous research and development projects through close collaboration with industry, research institutes, and universities both nationally and internationally.
Global franchise
We have developed a global franchise for delivering GWO certification and wind technician education. The first center is already operational in New York. The next one will start operating in New Orleans in the winter of 23/24. By spring 24, another center will be established in Gdynia, Poland. Contracts for establishment in additional countries have been signed.
