Last week, Inter Marine Group’s franchisee successfully completed the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) audit, marking a significant step forward in ensuring industry-leading safety standards.
Under the expert evaluation of Uwe Geiling from the Bureau Veritas Group, the franchisee’s equipment, documentation, and instructor qualifications were rigorously assessed during their BST (Basic Safety Training) session. Thanks to the hard work and professionalism of Training Director Steven Kjørmo and HSE Instructor Stefan Månsson, from Energy Innovation, the audit was completed in accordance with the latest GWO requirements.
From now on, Inter Marine Group in collaboration with Energy Innovation – NORWAY can provide training in all BST modules and refreshers.

Back in autumn 2023, Energy Innovation – NORWAY and Inter Marine Group solidified their partnership through a franchise agreement, officially making Inter Marine Group a franchising partner for Energy Innovation Global in Poland.
The agreement, initiated during a signing ceremony at the DNV headquarters in Gdynia, involved Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) and DNV, with the Honorary Consul of Norway, Weronika Haustein, providing an introduction.
Following the agreement finalization, audit dates were set for March 2024, with training scheduled to commence in April 2024. As planned, Inter Marine Group is now fully prepared to leverage its resources and expertise in collaboration with Energy Innovation – NORWAY.
The collaboration entails establishing three Global Wind Organisation training and Wind Tech education centers in Poland, with the first one being a joint venture between Inter Marine Group and Gdynia Maritime University.
This strategic partnership aims to address workforce needs in the Onshore and Offshore Wind sectors in Poland, Norway, and beyond, demonstrating a shared commitment to developing a skilled workforce for the global wind industry.
