The original signing of the MoU was hosted by Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) and DNV at the DNV headquarter in Gdynia late September, with many Norwegian and Polish companies attending. The introduction was done by the Honorary Consul of Norway, Weronika Haustein.
This week we have finalized the full agreement, and have set the dates for audit in March 2024, starting the the training in April 2024.
The agreement involves the establishment of three Global Wind Organisation training and Wind Tech education centers in Poland. The first one will be established in collaboration between Inter Marine Group and Gdynia Maritime University, at their campus. The collaboration will not only involve GWO training, but also wind tech education and workforce development.
The parties are keen on establishing a strong and long lasting Polish – Norwegian collaboration for building the necessary workforce for the On- and Offshore Wind sector in Poland, in Norway and in other countries throughout the world!
