About Energy Innovation

Energy Innovation is a Centre of Exellence for operation & maintenance, training, GWO certification, education, business development, innovation and R&D in the field of on- and offshore wind energy and green tech. Our focus is on renewable energy and environmental technology.

Energy Innovation offers assistance in business development and innovation in energy and environmental technology. We collaborate closely with NORCE (Norwegian Research Institute AS) and other Norwegian and foreign research institutes, as well as Universities.

Energy Innovation provides an extensive portfolio of GWO training: Basic Safety Training on- and offshore. Wind Limited Access. Advanced Rescue Training. Enhanced first aid. Boat transfer training. Slinger Signaller and Crane and Hoist. Blade repair training. Basic Technical Training and Wind Technician education. We are also certified for onsite training, including advanced rescue training.

Energy Innovation is also providing tailor made emergency exercises for the wind farm operators, Search And Rescue Services (SAR), air ambulance and other emergency services, both on- and offshore.

Energy Innovation has established a global franchise network for centers of excellence throughout the markets for on- and offshore wind. First center was in operation in New York in February 2023, the second one in Poland and third one in New Orleans in Q2 2024, and a centre in Sweden to be certified in Q1 2025.

From December 2022 Energy Innovation is owned 47,5 % by NorSea Group / Wilmhelmsen and 47,5 % by IKM Group, with CEO holding 5 %.
