Visiting Day at Egersund Energy Hub – Demonstrations, GWO Training and Workforce Development

Both Wind Europe and Global Wind Organisation will attend and give updates on workforce needs!

Energy Innovation and T-shore Regional CoVE (Centre of Vocational Excellence) for offshore Wind Norway invites industry partners, education providers, authorities and stakeholders to a Visiting Day at Egersund Energy Hub on 11 March 2026, with a strong focus on demonstrations of GWO HSE and Technical training, education solutions, and workforce development for both onshore and offshore wind.

The event will showcase how high-quality, practice-based training in realistic environments supports safety, competence and scalability in the rapidly growing global wind industry.

The event is arranged in collaboration with the High Wind Conference to be held on the 10th of March in Stavanger. You can book ticket through High Wind, or if you only want to participate in Egersund, do the booking below.

    Station-based demonstrations:
    1. HSE training in a real environment – 30 m training tower

    2. Rescue of injured personnel working at heights

    3. Evacuator – safe rescue from wind turbines

    4. Blade repair workshop

    5. Wind Technician education and technical training disciplines

    6. Use of VR in training – including presentation of the 3D Digital Twin of Hywind I (Zephyros)
