In February 2023, we officially launched our global franchise for GWO certification – the international industry standard for HSE and technical disciplines within onshore and offshore wind.
The first center was certified in New York in 2023. Our second and third centers followed in New Orleans and Poland in Q2 2024. Most recently, a center in Sundsvall, Sweden was certified in Q1 2025.

Nunez Community College in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, is an official Energy Innovation franchise partner, offering GWO-certified basic, enhanced and advanced HSE training as part of its academic Wind Tech Education pathway. Students in the Sustainable Energy Career Academy (SECA) receive hands-on instruction aligned with international standards in wind turbine safety and maintenance.
While this franchise model is designed specifically for students enrolled at Nunez, the integration of GWO certification into a college-level program represents an innovative approach to developing the local renewable energy workforce.
In December 2025 Nunez will be certified for several more GWO technical modules, including Blade repair.

Inter Marine shares our values of practical relevance, high-quality instruction, and continuous improvement – empowering participants to move “from zero to hero” in the wind power industry.
Inter Marine Training has a comprehensive GWO portfolio, including all HSE modules, and all technical GWO modules except Blade repair and the recently released solar standards. In September 2025 they were the first training centre in the world to be certified for both the new GWO High Voltage modules. They have a close collaboration with Gdynia Maritime University.

Their programs cover GWO-certified safety modules tailored for both onshore and offshore environments.
With a strong focus on practical relevance, modern facilities, and experienced instructors, Bifrost Wind combines local insight with international standards – empowering professionals for the future of renewable energy. They startet their operation in 2025 and will expand their GWO portfolio the coming year.
