This module enables participants to perform electrical work safely in the wind industry by applying electrical PPE, precautionary techniques, and recognised safe working practices to reduce risk from electrical hazards. Upon completion, participants can take responsibility for their own and others’ safety when working with or in the vicinity of electricity, and correctly complete a simple permit to work from start to finish as the person responsible for establishing an electrically safe work condition.

- Hazardous electrical safety scenario
- Training review
Certificate Validity Period:
- The certificate issued upon completion is valid for 24 months.
- Training records shall be renewed before the end of a given validity period. A training record can be renewed up to two months prior to expiry and maintain the original certification date by uploading the previous training record’s valid until date in WINDA. If a training record is renewed outside of two months of expiry, it must carry the new date of certification.
