This module provides a solid foundation in the main components and mechanical systems of a wind turbine and how the turbine operates in practice. Participants learn to identify mechanical hazards and apply appropriate controls, understand the principles of bolted and welded connections and perform visual inspections. Training also covers the correct and safe use of manual tightening and measuring tools.
