Upon completing the GWO Service Lift User (SLU) module, participants will be aware of the risks and hazards involved in service lift use in wind turbine environments and how to control and mitigate them. The course develops the ability to take responsibility and respond appropriately during hazardous situations. It reinforces safe work practices through proper use of PPE, emergency equipment, and procedures. Participants leave better prepared to maintain safe and compliant lift operations.

• Introduction to the training
• Legislation and manuals
• General use of lifts Inspection of lift prior to use
• Operation of lift (practical exercises)
• Evacuation from lift
• Shutdown after use
• Training review

Certificate Validity Period 

• The Service Lift Training Standard modules are enduring qualifications and therefore a validity period does not apply to these trainings. This assumes that the participant is actively working with the use, inspection, installation, and maintenance respectively of lifts.
