After completing the GWO – First Aid refresher, participants will have refreshed and maintained their ability to act independently in recognising, assessing, and prioritising the need for basic first aid and to deliver lifesaving care until handover to the next level of care in a WTG environment. They will also reaffirm responsibility for recognising their own limitations as basic first aiders, calling for help, and enabling evacuation of the casualty when required.

Certificate Validity Period
- The certificate issued upon completion is valid for 24 months.
- Certificates and training records must be renewed before the end of this validity period. If a certificate expires, the participant must complete the full First Aid training to obtain a new training record.
