The Enhanced First Aid (EFA) course equips participants to deliver effective, short-term care to injured or ill persons in remote or high-risk work environments, particularly in wind turbine generator (WTG) operations. The programme blends targeted theory with hands-on scenarios to build confidence and consistency while awaiting professional emergency response.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Deliver lifesaving first aid appropriate to the WTG environment—immediate, safe, and effective interventions.
- Operate independently in remote settings, leveraging advanced emergency equipment and medical teleconsultation where appropriate.
