This refresher course updates and maintains the competence to deliver effective, short-term care to injured or ill persons in remote or high-risk work environments—particularly in wind turbine generator (WTG) operations. The programme blends targeted reviews with hands-on scenarios to reinforce confidence and consistent performance while awaiting professional emergency response.

- Risk and hazard identification; legal requirements (review and updates)
- Essentials of anatomy and physiology (targeted revision)
- Incident management and emergency response (scenario refresh)
- Primary and secondary survey (enhanced first aid focus)
- Pain management and use of additional medications (where permitted)
- Scenario-based enhanced first aid exercises (assessment-driven)
Certificate Validity Period
- The certificate issued upon completion is valid for 24 months.
- Certificates and training records must be renewed before the end of this validity period. If a certificate expires, the participant must complete the full Enhanced First Aid training to obtain a new training record.
