This module builds basic knowledge of hydraulic systems in wind turbines: pumps, actuators, valves, accumulators, as well as pipes/hoses, oil/filters and measuring devices. Participants learn the risks associated with hydraulic work and how to mitigate them safely. Emphasis is placed on practical understanding of system layout, component function, and straightforward troubleshooting.
