The course updates and maintains participants’ core safety competence for onshore wind work, focusing on current safe-work practices, emergency response, and the correct use of PPE and emergency equipment.
Upon completion, participants will understand the key hazards in the wind industry and how to control and mitigate them, and will be able to respond appropriately to emergencies using established procedures and equipment.
Course Content
The Basic Safety Training Onshore Refresh covers the following four modules:
- Working at Heights Refresh
- First Aid Refresh
- Manual Handling Refresh
- Fire Awareness Refresh
Certificate Validity Period
- The certificate is valid for 24 months.
- Participants must renew certificates and training records before the expiration date. If a certificate expires, participants will need to complete the full BST Basic Onshore training to obtain a new training record.
