The Advance Rescue Training are designed to equip participants with the essential skills required to perform injured person rescue operations in Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs). Participants will learn to utilize industry-standard rescue equipment, methods, and techniques that exceed the requirements set forth by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) for Working at Height.
Upon successful completion of the refresh course in Advance Rescue Training, participants will be fully equipped to access and rescue injured individuals from all sections of the wind turbine. This course can be delivered independently or as part of a broader training program tailored to the needs of the participant or organization.
Course Content
The training is divided into the following modules:
- Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade
- Nacelle, Tower and Basement Rescue
- Single Rescue: Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue
- Single Rescue: Nacelle, Tower and Basement Rescue
Certificate Validity Period
- The certificate issued upon completion is valid for 24 months.
- Certificates and training records must be renewed before the end of this validity period. If a certificate expires, the participant must complete the full Advanced Rescue training to obtain a new training record.
